April 10



Here are two pieces from last month that are more successful. My work has tended to be very linear and architectural and so I'm trying to bring some organic forms into play as well as not be so controlled in my mark making. Let gooooo a little.

Today my goal is to make 10 tiny collages on the fly! eek

    These are so beautiful! I love the blue especially because of its watery allure. The second is so intricate, impossibly fine!

    Ann is so right the second one looks like a beating heart. bagsy the first one for my white monochrome bedroom in sweeden, or right here in london! it's so peaceful and makes me climb in.

      I am in awe of the overlays! Seeing your work in person today, I can't get over the delicacy of this lace made from the sketchpad cover. Also, the second collage is the one I want!

    wow. these are amazing. yes "alive and pumping" and beautifully vibrantly nightmarish too... in a good way.. if that's possible. what i mean is they evoke much feeling & emotion.
